Case Study 87 - Restoring New Muriatic Acid Etched Bronze Metal Window Frames and Sliding Doors

Condition: The new bronze metal window frames and sliding doors on this 25,000 sq. ft. Lake Norman, NC custom home of a prominent NASCAR Driver were damaged, stained, oxidized and acid etched by the brick mason contractor acid cleaning the brick above the metal window frame extrusions. The muriatic acid restoration cleaning agent flash etched and burned all of the building facade bronze metal. The milky white chemical staining left the brown metallic metal damaged, flash oxidized and acid burned beyond repair by traditional construction cleaning methods and materials.

We were contracted to clean, repair and restore the chemical stained and muriatic acid burned metal storefront window frames and metal sliding doors and frames.
