Case Study 76 - Concrete, Stucco and Mortar Damage - Acid Etched Metal Construction Cleaning and Repair

Condition:  The commercial grade metal storefront window frames and metal doors on this new Charlotte, North Carolina strip mall were acid etched, acid burned and chemically flash oxidized. The exterior Alucobond metal finishes got blemished, burned and stained whitish gray with lime contaminated debris, water and stucco overspray. Concrete, stucco and mortar residue had splashed onto the unprotected metal surfaces. The new construction project was damaged by the concrete, stucco and lime residue, white splatter, scarring, acid burns and metal surface imperfections.
