Case Study 32 - Restoring Silicone Caulking Stained and Damaged Metal Clad Panels

Condition: The stained clear metal metal building facade panels, old metal window frames and deteriorated metal clad column panels were silicone contaminated from leeching and degraded caulking. The original clear metal Duranodic panels on this commercial building in Madison, Wisconsin were discolored, uneven, faded and did not match the newly built clean metal stair-tower panels. The aged, faded and weathered original panels with the silicone caulking staining damage were in need of metal cleaning, repair and restoration.
