Case Study 67 - Anodized Aluminum and Precast Concrete Restoration Cleaning

Condition:  The precast concrete panels and the black building facade anodized aluminum window mullions on this commercial building in Mississauga, Ontario were degraded and stained from years of exposure to pollutants and contaminants. The precast concrete was stained and there were streaks from dirty water running down the building from the horizontal anodized aluminum mullions. There was mold and mildew growing on the concrete on the side of the building that was usually in the shade. The exterior anodized aluminum and concrete surfaces of the building were visibly dirty, stained and required restoration cleaning and chemical washing. The owners of the building required we improve the appearance and bring new life to the exterior of their Class A commercial building.
